Dyslexia Remedial Centre is established and managed by Mrs Kanthan who has several years experience as a tutor conducting remediation for children with dyslexia and specific learning difficulties. She is a trained Special Education teacher. She has worked with Special Children and was Principal of Lumos Early Intervention Centre, a centre for special children. She has wide experience working with dyslexic children and children with special needs namely Autistic, Hyperactive (ADHD), ADD, Down Syndrome etc. She has been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach in Singapore at the Orton-Gillingham Centre by Ron Yoshimoto, Director of Training Programmes and former Vice-President of the Academy of Orton- Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE - incorporated under New York State Education Law). Mrs Kanthan is committed to teach children and adults with dyslexia using the Orton-Gillingham approach. She firmly believes that no child or adult need to fail because of dyslexia.
